About

The man behind the lens.

A “mountain man” from the beginning.

Colorado is in my blood. My grandmother and great grandmother were born on the George Tallman homestead in Parker (now the planned Harvey Open Space). As a kid, my favorite part of the year was our summer visit to my grandparents’ cabin in Estes Park. I fell in love early with Rocky Mountain National Park and always wanted to go “farther in and higher up.” When I’m in the Rocky Mountains, more than anywhere else in the world, I find myself in joyful awe of the Giver of all good gifts who made the majestic peaks, the quiet waters, and the sublime colors of a Colorado sunset. I now live in Parker and get “out west” as often as I can with my tripod and my trusty Canon 5D Mark III.

I’m always happy to answer questions about my photos, locations, and techniques. Please feel free to use the Contact form for that purpose.

Regrettably, I do not have a permanent gallery. I occasionally exhibit at art shows and you can currently (Feb – Apr 2021) see some of my work at Kunjani World Coffeehouse in Parker, or I’m happy to show my work by appointment.
